Career Preparatory Programs

Twahangana HR Consulting cc aims to improve the lively hood of the future leaders of Namibia, by providing career guidance and life preparatory skills for the youth in rural areas of Namibia.

In 2018, we hosted the first ever Twahangana Career Fair, which was a great success; with 1560 children from 86 schools across the Oshana, Ohangwena and Omusati regions who enjoyed our first Annual Twahangana Career Fair.

We also facilitated the PREPARING FOR LIFE AFTER SCHOOL programme for those preparing to enter the world of study or employment. Leaving school is a major turning point in all young people’s lives and this may be a time of great anxiety for students.
We have therefore embarked on a journey to provide an interactive and informative training session to the youth, (specifically, Grade 10 – 12), titled “PREPARING FOR LIFE AFTER SCHOOL”. The following topics, amongst others were be covered; The importance of education, discovering your unique talents and building self-confidence, time management, basic financial literacy & budgeting and basic table etiquette.
We had 3 sessions in the Oshana, Ohangwena and Omusati regions – 1 day each from 08:00 to 16:30, on the 13th, 14th and 15th November 2018.
